How To Build a Network of People

In this article we’ll focus on how to network market and make money from home

let’s take a look at the definition of network marketing:

Network Marketing is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they recruit, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation.

The object is to build a list of contacts that you can keep in touch with and exchange ideas about products and other businesses. I recommend using social networks such as Facebook and Youtube to begin building your new list of friends. You may even consider investing in an auto responder system to help you automate some of your follow up efforts.

You’ll also need a good product and reliable company you can trust. Don’t make the mistake of jumping into these new pre launch companies that pop up every 30 seconds. The saying goes: “Here today, Gone Later Today” Be smart and join a credible company. Investigate the background of the organization and its founders and CEO, and if you can seek information on other businesses they have been involved with. If you notice a pattern of fly by night behavior- run, don’t walk, away.

closely together as a team to accomplish similar goals. Make sure you attend company and team training calls and invest in audios, and books to help further your education. Architects don’t learn the science and math behind constructing buildings over night, so be prepared to approach your business education with the same serious attitude most people attend college classes with.


Set realistic goals and work dilligently
to achieve those goals in a timely manner. Make a goal to speak with 5 new people every day on Facebook. Don’t pitch your products up front, instead offer advice and friendship. As the saying goes, we have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason, and its especially important in this line of work to be a listener before you’re a talker. Down the road you can offer them a sample of your product and turn them into happy customers. But first hear what they tell you, about their needs, dreams and wants. Learn to help people achieve those things.

As you begin sponsoring new people into the business repeat the process. Encourage your new people to be on the training calls and stay accountable. Teach them how to share samples with friends, family and facebook contacts. Teach your people how to get referals and make sales.

This is called building a network of cutomers and business builders also known as Network Marketing! I hope you take my advice and put it into action. Stay commited to work your business for 1 to 3 years minimum. And if you’re still looking for a good network marketing business than I recommend GBG.

Facebook is a great way to generate new leads for any business opportunity including GBG!

Note: When adding a new friend on Facebook Remember it says “add as a friend” NOT “add as a marketer.”

Facebook allows you to target and profile the people you want to connect with.

Just search for other network marketers and work from home programs. Type a few keywords in the search bar and begin joining groups and adding other friends.

Note: DO NOT add more than 5 people per day or Facebook will delete your profile.

Communicate with your new friends via the live chat feature. Ask them how their doing, how’s business going etc.

Don’t jump right in with your product and business. Establish the lines of communication and position yourself as a leader.

Your job is to find out what these people are looking for and how you and your business fits into the equation.

In my case it’s rather easy because I represent health and wellness products and offer FREE Samples to all of my qualified friends. I talk to 5 new people every day and close a minimum of 1 on accepting a Free sample.

I do not close them on buying the product up front. This is where many Facebook Marketers go wrong. You need a way to warm yourself up to these people. If I accept your friend request on Facebook that doesn’t mean I totoally trust you. It simply means I’m willing to get to know you.

It’s YOUR job to make me trust YOU. The best way to do that is by providing value. Free Samples are a great way to earn trust with Facebook friends. After sending the samples I follow up with a phone call to see what they liked best.

At this point I either sponsor them on the spot or tuck them into my pipeline for later follow up.

The key is being persistent and working this strategy over a 90 day period, than evaluate your progress.

If I talk to 5 new people per day and close 1 on accepting a Free sample than by the end of the month I would have sent out 30 samples to 30 different Facebook Friends

Even if my numbers are bad and I only close 1 out of 5 on joining at the $39.97 level than I would still have sponsored 6 new people by the end of the month.

My question is, Have you been consistently sponsoring 6 people personally into your business on a monthly basis?
